American bass-baritone Zachary Altman has performed leading roles at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Hamburgische Staatsoper, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Komische Oper Berlin, Opéra de Lyon, Teatro La Fenice, Teatre Massimo di Palermo, Royal Danish Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Opera Vlaanderen, and Theater Basel. His concert appearances have included the Cleveland Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Carnegie Hall with the Boston Symphony. His repertoire spans from 20th Century operas by Britten, Berg, and Henze to Mozart's Don Giovanni. Zachary is a former Resident Artist at Opera San Jose and former member of OperAvenir at Theater Basel.
